Fixation of pay in the revised Pay band
New basic pay in the revised pay band is to be arrived by multiplying the old pay by 1.86 as per the notification dated 29.8.2008. Bunching is to be provided wherever required. In the memo dated 30.8.2008 fixation table has been provided. The table given in the memo dated 30.8.2008 may also to be compared while fixing the pay in the pay band.

Download the arrears calculator from the link given below. (Posted on 4th September 2008). New provision to enter the number of days of dies non and strike is being worked out and will be posted on 8.9.2008. One more bug in the fixation of pay for the promotion in the 2006 is rectified.

6th Pay Commission Arrears Calculator.
Arrears calculator now available after rectifying the following bugs:-
1. Pay fixation from PB-3 to PB4.
2. Pay fixation for new recruits (appointed during 2007 and 2008)
3. Grant of increment for the officials who were promoted on 1st January (Increment to be given on 1st July in the new pay).

Features of the 6th Pay Commission Arrears Calculator.
You can calculate the arrears for the officials of the following category:-
(a) Cadre not changed from 1.1.2006 to 31.8.2006
(b) Promoted between 1.1.2006 and 31.8.2006
(c) Appointed after 1.1.2006 but before 31.8.2006
(d) Pay upgraded on 1.1.2006 (e.g Inspector Posts Scale RS. 5500-175-9000 upgraded to Rs 6500-200-10500)
(e) Manual calculations by entering Basic Pay drawn, Grade Pay, No of days for officials who have been promoted in the middle of the month.
(b) Promoted between 1.1.2006 and 31.8.2006
(c) Appointed after 1.1.2006 but before 31.8.2006
(d) Pay upgraded on 1.1.2006 (e.g Inspector Posts Scale RS. 5500-175-9000 upgraded to Rs 6500-200-10500)
(e) Manual calculations by entering Basic Pay drawn, Grade Pay, No of days for officials who have been promoted in the middle of the month.
